If all else fails try using admin commands to spawn the license you were supposed to get.Crew are specialized NPCs that reside on the player's ship and generally provide passive benefits. HOWEVER if you had a full inventory at the time you teleported back to ship, the license probably spawned on the floor and you didn't notice (it is an item that spawns in your inventory then is immediately used to give you the upgrade quest.) As soon as you teleport into the ship, you get your license and a quest to upgrade your ship (no need to buy the license at all.) Once you have enough guys you need to visit your ship to actually get your license. My question is why can't I simply add crew members and why won't S.A.I.L acknowledged my adding crew members to prompt the ~Go upgrade ship at the Penguin Pete~ ? I have so many upgrade modules at this moment too. I go off to add another crew member since my ship is bigger.then S.A.I.L pops up and tells me again that I have reached maximum crew yadda yadda.so now crunching and saving pixels for the 40k license. So I saved up for the license at penguin bay.
I had two and then when I tried adding a third crew member, S.A.I.L told me I have reached my crew maximum.
